When words are not enough.
Fossil presents: Picture perfect (not!)
They say a picture is worth 1000 words. Probably true, but more like 10,000 when I get started talking and trying to explain some thing or place. Still, I hope you get some idea of the places portrayed in this page, especially if you haven't been there. If you have I hope it brings back some fond memories for you.

This lot were taken on Koh Larn, which is a short speed boat ride away, and is a popular day trip amongst tourists and locals alike. The island offers a range of beaches and most have eating, drinking and leisure facilities. Jet ski's and banana boats are the two most enjoyed activities although just lazing in the warm blue water is also a popular pastime. Idyllic as it is, the sun can be quite vicious, so care and sunscreen is advised. Of course with silly people like me, I forgot all that, drank too much beer and paid the price. Still I had a great time on all the times I went. It's fun if you go with a group of people, plus it lessens the cost of the speed boat if you take that path. Either way it is a fun day out. |

This set of 11 photos are from a place not far from Pattaya called Ang Sila and is a well respected Chinese temple. The last 5 are at a temple not far from Buriram in the East of Thailand. The monk blessed us all, including the car! The last lot are from a wedding, and shows the rural part of just north of Bangkok. There will be some video snips from the evenings festivities in due course. |

These next 14 are from a place north of Bangkok, near Ahyuttya, called Ang Thong. The event was a wedding of two good friends of mine. What a day! |

This next 16 were from a recent trip to Isaan, a little under and hour's drive from Chaiyaphum, in Central Thailand. The first two were at a temple on the recent Buddha days. The rest are in and around the village where I stayed. Note the 'kitchen preparation bench'...the water storage containers....the 'new' buildings, the outside shower and toilet, and of course the all important satellite dish for entertainment!! |
