This first five were taken on a speed boat on it's way over to Koh Larn which is about 15-20 minutes away or about an hour if you go the cheaper slower boat from Bali Hai pier. If the sea is a little wavy or it's a bit windy, that makes for a bumpy but fun ride, unless you are prone to sea-sickness.

The following lot are from a day out at Dream World in Bangkok. As a theme park it's not a patch on others that I've been to, but it was a fun day out anyway. The best part was getting drenched by the boat that splashes into a body of water and the spray gets everyone in the boat and on the specially designed and placed bridge that crosses over the water back to dry land.

The next lot are from an out of the way rural area west of Chachoengsao, which is about 2 hours north of Pattaya, and shows just how peaceful and quiet it is away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Nice to visit, but boring! I don't know how people survive in places like that. I suppose you get would used to it eventually, but not me.

The following are from a "touristy" place just 30 minutes by car/taxi from Pattaya. It's actually quite interesting as far as Thai culture goes, although as tourism is one of the countries main imports, some people would call it a tourist trap. It sort of is one way, but you are not forced to buy, do or eat anything there. A day out at the Pattaya Floating Market willl not be a waste of a day. You might even like it!
