This first gallery were taken during July 2008, when we had a two day respite from the bar, due to Buddhist holidays. These first few were taken east of Korat at this monk's temple. |

The following lot are from a family home about 50 minutes north of Chaiyaphum in central Thailand. Pictures really are worth a 1000 words but give only a limited idea of being there. |

If you have ever eaten Thai rice, then there is a good chance that it may have been grown here in the next lot of pictures. See how many different types of fruit or vegetables you can distinguish! Oh, and don't miss the crab. |

The remaining pictures were taken on the way back from the village and farms to the city of Chaiyaphum. The road traverses areasonably steep and tallish mountain. There is a scenic viewing place to park your car and admire the scenery. The vantage point is within a temple village, monestary if you want, and I have to say the safety fence looking out over the land didn't help my vertigo! |

This is the Tat Ton waterfalls, and is very popular amongst not only the locals, but visitors alike. It was quite a hot day and many availed themselves to the fast flowing waters to cool off after lunch. But by mid afternoon it began raining, well it is the rainy season, and so everyone got out of the water and we all left! |

This last lot were from a fishing park in the heart of Pattaya. Here you can fish to your hearts content and either throw back what you caught, or you could instruct one of the service people to cook the thing and so eat it. Lazing back in the undercover and sipping on a whisky or beer (sometimes both) waiting for the next fish to catch itself, you think to yourself "wonder what the other people are doing!" It's a great way to spend a hot and sultry afternoon in Pattaya. |
