Golf - where everyone hears you scream.

The following snaps were taken on 23rd August 2007 at Pattana Sports Club, which is about 50 minutes from Pattaya, not far from Laem Chabang International. Most photos do not do justice to the majority of subjects, so it's hard to get a good appreciation of just how good some things are. The clubhouse at Pattana is enormous and the facilities are superb. Prices are very modest for what is on offer. We only played the A course twice as there was a professional tournament in progress. I will be back to play the other two courses. Very challenging greens and mixed with par 3's to par 6's makes this a great course for anyone to play.

This next set of 18 were taken the next day at a very scenic course called Treasure Hill. It's just a little further past Pattana, so maybe an hour from Pattaya. There was a thunderstorm half way through the round with a bit of a downpour and a lot of lightning and thunder. Despite even the Almighty not being able to hit a 1-iron, we didn't want to risk it, so we took cover at a beer/food stop and waited til we could play safely again.

This set is from Burapha which is just across the road from the Laem Chabang course. Once again it threatened to rain, but it never eventuated. A very nice course to play on, and naturally the caddies help to make a fun day. When you are in town and feel like a game or two, contact me and a memorable day will be arranged.

This lot were from a course by the auspicious name of St Andrews. As you can see some of the pictures are not of a professional quality, however the owner of the camera didn't take all of them and besides when you are having a good time you don't think too much about composition.
