Golf - a good walk spoiled!

This first gallery was taken during July 2007, at the very prestigious and luxurious Laem Chabang International course. While photos and videos are a great way of capturing the moment, there is no better way that I know than just plain being there! It matters not how good or bad a golfer you are, so long as you are out there having fun and getting a bit of exercise.

This next lot are from Eastern Star about 50 kms south east of Pattaya and is very popular among locals and visitors alike for reasons other than golf. Note the "mascot" that followed us around, maybe hoping for a stray meal.

These next bunch were from a lovely course called Khao Kheow. It's only about 50 minutes north of Pattaya and close to the open range zoo as well.

This next set were snapped on August 21 2007 at Phoenix Golf course. It's just a short hop past Jomtien and the Ambassador Hotel to the south of Pattaya. Again a great day was had by all. Beers and dinner after the game topped off the day. You might be able to make out the gold outline of Buddha on the mountain. It's very well known and photographed. This course is known for it's wide fairways, a bonus for me, but is a good course for the longer hitter. You can walk this course if you wanted, but it's far more enjoyable with a cart.
